Columbine is a mistress of disguise and an expert at flirtation, involved in a classic "eternal triangle" situation. She toys unashamedly with Pierrot's emotions, Who is completely enthralled with her, but she is really in love with the inconstant Harlequin, who resolutely attempts to avoid any kind of amorous entanglement.

A theatrical production is unthinkable without the appropriate scenery and props. Columbine has her own Collector's Display - an oval, matt black stage with a draped curtain in titian red, which is held in position by two sparkling crystal stones. It is perfectly complemented by a Crystal Title Plaque engraved with the name of the edition, the figure and the designer. In the "Masquerade" trilogy, each figure has it's own plaque.
