For the last few years we have been bringing a part of our store into your homes via the Internet. We thank you for your support.
                                                                                    Giuseppe Armani and Roberta

The people who have had an opportunity to visit our stores have had a chance to see a side of us that you may not see by only visiting our website. The only way to describe our business would be to say that it is a true labor of love. So much so, that over the years it has in many ways proved to be the glue that has kept an already close family even closer. To us, Roberta's Collectibles is not only comprised of several generations of the Perkins family; the artists and our special clientele have come to represent an extended family to us. This became ever so apparent when Roberta passed away last September and so many of those 'extended family members' showed us how much they cared. Those fortunate enough to have met Roberta, know how special she was.

Perhaps one of the greatest tributes to Roberta was expressed by Giuseppe Armani. In memory of Roberta, Giuseppe Armani has designed an exclusive edition of 100 numbered and signed pieces bearing Roberta's name.

                   "Roberta"
This has given Roberta's family members, friends and some long time devoted customers something to commemorate her; a soft delicate pastel beauty, hand signed by Giuseppe Armani with a numbered certificate. It is very unusual for Giuseppe Armani to create such an exclusive edition and we feel that it is a great honor he has paid Roberta in doing so. Giuseppe Armani has always had a special place in the heart of Roberta's Collectibles. His pieces were the first limited edition collectibles carried in the store. Today with over 400 unique Armani pieces, we have one of the largest Armani collections in the U.S.

In 1993 Roberta's welcomed Armani for a signing event at the Sunrise Hilton Hotel in Florida. Then in 1997 a select few Armani dealers were extended invitations to tour the Armani factory in Florence, Italy. Roberta and Sid Perkins were one of those few. Through these meetings and frequent correspondence, a very special relationship was established between Roberta and Armani.

                                                                                                      Roberta and Sid Perkins
Sid develops a gleam in his eye when he talks about the fact that the Roberta piece number 1/100 is on display in the Armani Showroom in Florence, Italy. Only the other 99 will arrive at the store in Lauderhill, Florida.

As usual, Sid Perkins remains the "Collectibles Guru" people have come to know and depend on. For Sid and for all of us, this business is truly much more than just a business.
